About Us

1UP BOOKS is a college textbook company based in Columbia, Missouri, started by two college brothers, Aaron and Brandon Knoblauch in April 2007. We purchase our textbooks from students at rates higher than that of local campus bookstores via our end-of-semester buyback events which we host at several locations throughout the Midwest. Unlike campus bookstores, which have expensive physical stores to maintain, our books are available for sale strictly online and are shipped directly from our warehouse. This efficiency and cost savings allows us to sell our textbooks for significantly less than your local bookstore. Ultimately, our mission is to one up the competition, your wallet thickness, and most importantly, your satisfaction.
